Travel Habits Of The World's Richest CEOs
Travel Habits Of The World's Richest CEOs
The world’s richest CEOs spend millions of dollars every year traveling to business conferences and shareholder meetings. Ultra-rich CEOs like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk own luxurious private jets that they use to travel all over the world. Most of the world’s richest CEOs are chauffeured around in opulent limos or town cars. However, there are some exceptions. Elon Musk prefers to drive himself around. He drives to meetings and SpaceX launch sites in his Tesla Model S performance, but lately he has been spotted in a $70,000 Cybertruck prototype. Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffet is famous for being frugal. He rarely spends any money despite being one of the richest people in the world. The famous investor drives a modest $45,000 Cadillac XTS and uses the same private jet he has had for years. When LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault needs to jet off to a fashion week in New York or Milan he hops in his $54 million Dassault Falcon 7X business jet. The Falcon 7X is designed to fly 11,019 km, which means Arnault can travel non-stop from LVMH headquarters in Paris to the luxurious Ginza shopping district in Tokyo. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg doesn’t own a private jet even though he has a net worth of $110.3 billion. Instead, he charters private jets to fly him to business meetings and congressional hearings. Facebook granted Zuckerberg a $23.4 million allowance in 2019 for security and personal travel expenses, including $2.9 million to charter private jets.
